The PADI Rescue Diver Course is the turning point in your diver training when we turn your attention on how to prevent and handle diving emergencies. During the PADI Rescue Diver Course you will learn the difference between administering rescue skills and rescue management and how both roles play an important part to safer diving.   • The PADI Rescue Diver is over three days.
  • Courses start any day.
  • The course is split into 3 parts: Classroom theory and video sessions, Confined water rescue scenarios, Open water rescue scenarios


  • Must be Advanced Open Water Diver certified
  • Must have CPR certification, (PADI Emergency First Response certificate or equivalent level training)
  • Must be staying overnight in our Homestay or any other Hotel in Brunei (preferably not too far from our Dive Center)
  • Must be in good health (Divers with a history of medical illness must obtain a certificate from a doctor allowing them to dive)
  • Must be 15 years or older


  • Student record file, medical statement, liability release forms
  • Instruction by fully certified PADI Instructor
  • Theory in air-conditioned classrooms (or online course if applicable)
  • Confined Water Scenarios and Open Water scenarios
  • 2 boat dives
  • Lunch, Water, Tea on the dive boat
  • Maximum 4 persons per instructor
  • PADI Rescue Diver Course manual
  • PADI Rescue Diver certificate


1. Medical statement

By booking a dive excursion you confirm you do not have knowledge of any medical condition that may preclude you from diving. All students must complete a medical statement prior to diving. Positive responses will require a physicians approval before diving. The dive medical form can be viewed and printed here.

2. Flying after diving

We recommend at leave at least 12 hours for a single dive (including PADI Discover Scuba Diving) excursion, and at least 18 hours minimum surface interval before flying after doing multiple dives (whenever possible, wait 24 hours). There is no refund for bookings booked within these time constraints
